Your church or its congregation have the power to make big change from any simple action that will be taken at an organization like PAAJAF Foundation. For a small investment of time donation or money or in-kind items, Your church and its congregation can sponsor one or two students or a programme.
How can congregation help? They can engage church volunteering or making donations either cash or in-kind items to keep the PAAJAF Foundation open. They can help on fundraising, collection of goods and speaking out for PAAJAF, communicating to church members and friends your church commitment to education equity globally. No matter how much you choose to commit, you can be sure that 100% of those dollars will go directly to fund students’ or a project you care for at Gbawe, the developing world in Ghana.
Matching Grants: Partner with a school or other religious group and agree to match donations raised in a fundraising drive up to a certain amount. Matching grants are a great way to double the impact of a fundraising drive and encourage individuals to donate.
Devote a Portion of offering or taken a freewill offering to a Student or Programme in Ghana: Have a “Let’s Fight Poverty in Ghana or Adopt a Gbawe Child” day where 5% of offering or freewill offering taken go to funding students’ educations or a project. These kinds of campaigns have the potential to powerfully impact both your church and PAAJAF goal of raising awareness about the educational inequities in the developing world and fighting poverty.
“Round Up” for PAAJAF: Ask your church members if they would like to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar where the difference goes to supporting a student’s education or a programme you chooses.
