Miriam’s mother sells okro and earns just $2 a day. Her mother understands the importance of education and wants her children to create a better life for themselves, but she can’t afford to send Miriam to school.
Miriam is a young, shy girl whose father passed away three years ago. She lives with her mother and older sister, Mary, who is also on the PAAJAF program.
Her mother sells okro and earns just $2 a day. This is not enough to fund her daughter’s educational needs without help. However, up to now she has been trying her best to send her children to school, as she understands the importance of education and wants her children to create a better life for themselves.
Miriam’s school fees for last term were unpaid and if this continues she will have to miss school.
Miriam normally attends schools at Mercy School Complex and is in class 2, but already due to the family’s financial situation, she has been forced to miss classes. With your donation of about a dollar a day ($30 a month), or a one-time donation, you can provide her with school fees, and health care through vaccines and nutritious food that she urgently needs.
Your support will help Miriam and her family and make a huge difference in her life.
