Since the beginning of PAAJAF Foundation in 2007, our priority has been to bring hope to our children for a better future through education. We can now proudly see our students taking steps each year towards new directions in life, by giving them a foundation where they can start learning and building their dreams. As of today, we have taken out of the poverty streets 145 children, from 2,5 to 15 years-old, who are currently enrolled in our education programs.
Sarah was left to her own luck, when her mother and grandmother passed away when she was just 10 years old. She has found in PAAJAF Foundation the means to not lose track of her outstanding academics capacities and hopefully to be able to follow through higher education.
Lordina comes from a low-income family, as many in Gbawe area, who cannot afford to send their children to school. She is now integrated in PAAJAF PEI School, where she is able to fulfil her academic path that will open new horizons for her.
Most children in Gbawe region (Greater Accra region) do not go to school due to the lack of public schools, having no alternative to educate their children. PAAJAF is the only option in this area for children currently un-enrolled at any education program and for this reason, your continuous support will make a critical impact on our community.
To be able to bring hope and support to the education of the Gbawe children, it is necessary to ensure stability to our operation. These children count on PAAJAF Foundation to be able to dream with a better future.
Our education programs range from pre-school to secondary school, supported by a group of teachers in the areas of English, Mathematics and Science, but also Social Studies, Citizenship Education, Physical Education, Music and Technology, bringing an holistic approach to the learning process, while following the education programs from Ghana Education Government. We also serve daily meals for our students and support them with uniforms and equipped classrooms that can spark their curiosity for learning.
Apart from the gift of education, PAAJAF Foundation hopes to leave a long-lasting legacy in the lives of these children, by supporting them in becoming the citizens of tomorrow, who were not constrained by poverty, troubled childhood and tragic situations. Our main goal is to give space and opportunity to children to achieve their full potential and bring a new wave of development for the future generations of Gbawe community and Ghana.
